I started breeding purebred dogs 28 years ago. Jaded by massive health problems and short life spans in other breeds, I switched family-run kennel to Hermes Olde English Bulldogges on 2001. (My heart broke when my previous pet died of a coronary at nine years of age.) Before selecting this breed, I talked with many breeders and looked at dozens of different canine breeds. Then I saw my first olde english bulldogge, and fell in love. The large, heavily muscled frame, massive head, cobby looks and long lifespan made this the dog I wanted to have the rest of my life.

Olde English Bulldogges have a fearsome look, but they are extremely family-oriented, loyal dogs with sweet dispositions and tenacity. Despite their heavily muscled bodies, this breed of bulldogges move with speed and agility. Whether you purchase a bulldogge as a pet or family protector, you'll have a friend for many years to come.

I breed exclusively HERMES bloodline dogs for large size, strength, agility and health. Descended from only Hermes bloodline, our dogs have no Leavitt blood.

I breed for quality, not quanity. Of my four females, I breed one female once every 18 months. Deserae is a six year old and had two litters of which we kept two from the first litter. Squill and Pivver for dams and four from her last litter. Squill is old enough but we are spacing her. Gudrin, is not yet two, so a little down the road yet for her.
